Sound is the language of this Universe

Tesla famously said that to know the secret of the universe, look at frequency.

It is amazing how music, certain types of it, brings forth certain frequencies and they change you.

In the peaceful nature and away from the city noise, I find peace and the frequency of peace. Listening to certain classical piano, it reaches to my soul and soothes it. At a rave listening to EDM, it lights up the fire within me and ignites my spirit.

But as i tune in to certain music, I slowly notice that I gravitate towards certain types of music and away from others. I gravitate towards something original and brings for some melodies. I repel away from the mainstream music that have the same cookie-cutter beats.

Coming to NYC had been a blessing — I am able to be exposed to truly unique music that aren't readily accessible anywhere else. Street jazz, piano. For the majority of my life, I've been going to the default — whatever was popular with my peers and usually those are music played at clubs. I am so over those, and I am ready to explore beyond the normal default.
